Me - Sarah Flood

Hi! I've been scribbling as long as I can remember; I fell in love with writing when I realized that I could make stories I thought ended too soon or didn't end well- end the way I wanted. So I wrote "sequels" to these stories, and then started writing my own. I blog sporadically, and usually have a pen and paper handy to capture ideas.

My interests are varied, and include history, crafts, writing, and art. I've been a Civil War reenactor since 2001, a knitter since 2005, and have drawn, painted, and done other crafts all my life. My purse usually has yarn and needles in it.

I have recently been able to travel more extensively, visiting Kyiv, Ukraine in June 2010 and Algonquin Provincial Park, Canada, in 2009. Both of these trips have fueled my desire to see more of the world, and I hope to be able to do more travelling in the future.
